I just watched Bill Cunningham New York and it was beautiful. The kind of documentary that makes you fall in love with the subject. I doubted it at first, too. I love films that take me by surprise.
Lately, it seems my general attitude would be best friends with sour milk.
One of the faculty in my program put on a lovely sorta-peña with great food, some funky poetry, and a neuva canción band from up north today.
I had pho late last night with a person I love and it was perfect and warm and soupy. I miss good food so much. Beans and rice e’ryday apparently can get tiresome.
